andI am ABritoArt a mainly self taught artist who is in a Digital Arts program.
Art is not only a passion; to me, it is everything. I've always had the so called "artist mind", for instance, being able to stare a blank wall and not be bored. There is more to see than what is obviously there, who built the wall? What makes up the wall? What did it take to make that wall? What has been covered by the latest coat of paint? The random stories themselves and the creativity behind them is one of my greatest sources of inspiration.
I believe small details are passed up too often. Unappreciated, forgotten, unconsidered. In my art, I always convey how I am feeling in the present moment- and there is always more to my art other than what is obviously there. You see a girl at a river, I see a curious child who was exploring and came across a gorgeous lake that seemed to glow with beauty. She stood in the water, just watching the water in awe.
I firmly believe improvement is always possible. It simply depends on how much one is willing to sacrifice to get where they want to be.
I hope the stories behind my pieces can inspire others, and maybe even show them things they didn't even know about themselves, and people in general.
